Inside the World Travel Factbook
The Kaufmann World Travel Factbook began as a simple question: could one reference hold every destination on Earth — not just the famous ones, but all 273, including the territories and micro-nations the big guidebooks skip?
The shape of it
Each destination gets the same structured treatment: history, geography, culture, practical facts. The point isn't to replace a travel narrative — it's to be the place you check when you want a fact you can trust, fast.
From screen to shelf
The Factbook lives online, but readers kept asking for something they could hold. That request became The Kaufmann Traveler's Guides — a printed paperback series, one country at a time, starting with the United States. You can read more in the earlier announcement.
The Factbook itself is free to browse at kaufmann.wtf.
